I have used Contadina for 41 years, since my husband’s grandmother taught me to make “gravy”. Was great to have a stash! I hate it when our grocery is out of Contadina tomato paste and I have to get another brand. Other brands are too sweet and too tart, and don’t hold up well in a 24 hour gravy making process. And the price was the same per ounce as Walmart!

Love the larger can of this paste …when canning sauce I hate opening so many little cans of tomato paste. This size cut that in half and the flavor is wonderful

All I have been able to find the last few years are 6oz sizes. When I am cooking for the family, even six 6oz cans aren’t enough. I usually buy 32(?) ounce cans, but I will take 12s over 6s for now.

Everyone needs tomato paste in their pantry, even if just a tablespoon. Freeze the remainder in ice cube trays.I make pasta sauce 8 qts at a time. No problem going through this.
