Spam is perfect for breakfast! It’s quick, easy to prepare, and incredibly flavorful. Whether you fry it up crispy or keep it a little softer, it pairs wonderfully with eggs, toast, or even in a breakfast burrito. The savory, salty taste adds a deliciously satisfying element to any morning meal. I love how versatile it is—it’s great for a hearty breakfast or even as a snack. Spam is definitely a go-to for me when I’m looking for a tasty, no-fuss breakfast option. Highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a savory start to the day!

We’re big fans of Spam! Whether pan-fried with bread in the morning or served with rice for lunch and dinner, it’s our go-to for a quick, satisfying meal. Its distinct salty, savory flavor is just so delicious! When we don’t have the time or energy to cook, a can of Spam, fried and paired with eggs and rice, makes an easy, hearty meal.

Tried this for the first time. I made an egg friend rice with it and it was tasty! I very recently realized that there is flavored spam. I like spam but I don’t eat it that often. This is good and I would recommend it. The jalapeño is not over powering. It is a good balance.

This is just one of those items I had to try and it was well worth it. Freshness and flavor. A lot of people do not like spam but I come from the military and if you spice it up spam is good. That is why I had to try the Jalapeno.

It’s spam. It tastes like spam. You know it’s a little on the salty side but it is excellent to have on hand during hurricane season in case the power goes out
AmazonCustomer –
Classic spam and hasn’t changed in flavor or texture. Great shelf life.

Hickory smoked if you like this flavor you would not do wrong by buying this.
Ida Tsang –
Much cheaper than my grocery store. less sodium is a must as regular spam is TOO salty

I prefer the taste of it after it’s been fried and it only takes a few minutes to brown due to the sugar content. So, when cooking don’t walk away or you will burn it. It is on the sweet side but if you have ever had the pleasure of eating sizzling bacon (which I loved back in the day) it actually tastes kind of similar to that. It is very tasty. Just wish it was easier to find and didn’t cost so much.It did arrive in a paper bag but it was not damaged in any way. Would buy again if I could find it cheaper

Cheaper by the dozen. For further comment see Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

If you are looking at this item, you already know what you’re trying to get when it comes to SPAM. I personally prefer the less sodium one. Taste wise, not much different in my opinion. But the main reason to get this many and from Amazon is that its cheaper than buying it at my local supermarket. Haven’t had any issues!

No other Span flavor comes close. This is the bomb.
Doug Rybarczyk –
Spam is great tasting and has only six ingredients, which means far fewer stuff added.

Good for those snowy mornings when you don’t have breakfast meat in the fridge.

Mmmmm one of my favorites. Good sized can can make me three or four sandwiches. Prices gone up everywhere so gonna have to quit another one if my favorite meals.

You simply have to “grill” it or warm it. It really is great with eggs or to make sandwiches and so much more. For decades, I thought Spam was, well awful because I did not now better! Apparently, it is huge in Hawaii. Yet, they have so many varieties and I enjoy the low sodium. I encourage you to try the different Spam products as they really are great.

I actually get the Reduced Sodium Spam not just for health reasons, but for taste. A problem I’ve had with Spam was the overpowering the saltiness level. I like the taste of the Reduced Sodium verionIt’s still a lot of sodium. I wouldn’t use this as a part of a low sodium diet. Spam is also very shelf stable. If you want Spam to last in the case of nuclear fallout though, the regular version would probably be better.

uhh really weird that ive never seen before, crusty when opened? wth? Otherwise great spam spam spam and eggs, oatmeal spam n cheese, spicy siracha spam, you really cant go wrong..but i do wish it was cheaper

The low sodium is the way to go. Regular spam is very salty and the nori used to smell it is very salty as well. Low sodium is perfect.

What can I say? It’s Spam. No substitutes for it. I lived 45+ years in Hawaii and now in WA I need to make my own musubi. No sushi place wants to make and sell it! All this fusion sushi’s horrible to me. It’s just a necessity. Sushi authentic ingredients are too hard to find or for me to fussy to make but musubi is fast easy and I became hooked on it in Hawaii. Don’t knock it until you make it. It’s also great for camping or grab and go bags in emergencies. Long live Spam : ). It’s ono (good)!

The only other place where you can get a deal on SPAM, like they have at Amazon, is at Costco. Then you have to go there, find parking, and go through the check out line. SPAM will last for a very long time in the can. And if you don’t each much of it, the can can almost last you a whole week.

This tastes like regular spam but with just a hint of jalapeno flavor. I didn’t notice any spiciness after it was pan fried but my friend says she noticed a bit. I like that they didn’t overdo it and I enjoy the product.

Why is the less sodium unavailable? I shop with Amazon but this product is still on the shelves at Walmart, Big Lots and local Sureways. My family loves this.

i really like Spam, I am happy they have lowsodium or I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it againI just purchased a spam slicer little things me happy

Ahh, the comfort foods of WWII which remain: SOS (nickname for creamed chipped beef — google on the term, I can’t type it out here and pass the censors), corned beef hash.. and Spam. Originally for our troops, these became American staples after the war.You should never watch corned beef hash nor Spam coming out of the can. They look horrible. But oh, how they cook up! Am right now cooking this Prime Pantry order (in order to decide to order more), in my Wearever Pure Living 8″ saute skillet (which requires only half the heat setting to fry crisp, see the article in Amazon). Yum. The smell is to die for. I fry up a whole container then freeze what I don’t immediately eat. They are great straight from the freezer, cold or nuked with some eggs.Taste is the same as my ‘full’ spam. Still, Armour Treet is good, but there’s something unique to Spam which keeps it a staple in our shelves. Yay.Not sure I buy into the low sodium arguments, but when you can reduce the sodium without reducing taste, well…
