The other day I mixed this tomato sauce with a can of Contadina tomato paste plus a little Italian herb seasoning and freshly ground black peppercorns to make a nice pizza sauce. I then put the sauce on hoagie roll halves and topped them with mozzarella cheese and little slices of pepperoni. I baked them for 14 minutes at 425 degrees and they were perfect. The next time I made pita pizzas my husband said he wished I’d made the hoagie roll pizzas because he loved them so much. So I’m going to buy more hoagie rolls and pepperoni in the future! It is nice to have a few cans of this on hand for anytime you want to make pizza. You could also use these to thin out spaghetti sauce or to use in any recipe calling for tomato sauce. I use this in a variety of recipes. Works great to make my own marinara sauce with fresh herbs that I grow in my bay window and kitchen. I never get the kind that already has herbs or spices in it because I don’t know how much of what the manufacturer uses; with the plain I can season to fit the recipe.

Not much to say it is Hunts Tomato Sauce. It was what we needed and the prices were about the same as the stores but they were out of stock. Will likely be purchasing from Amazon for this product again.
