What can I say?Contains is a very good brand of tomatoes. Not as watery like other brands of tomato sauce & has a a rich tomato flavor. It’s a better quality brand. The proof is in the flavor. Really good price & well worth it. Great value!

Tomato soup that can’t be beat starts with Contadina Tomato Paste with Italian Herbs. Add water, a few generous splashes of Marsala, a couple tablespoons (or to taste) pesto, pepper, a pinch of kosher salt to taste, and, after bringing to a boil and removing from heat, whisk in enough light cream to bring it to your desired level of creaminess. I also keep several cans on hand to make tomato soup and grilled cheese whenever I crave it.

I love using Contadina tomato paste it’s one of the best on the market. My biggest issue was I can’t find this particular variety here in Chicago. Contadina regular tomato paste and garlic is sold through out several stores. I had to purchase this with the oregano,basil, garlic combined. My favorite for making spaghetti, lasagna, all red sauce. I will be purchasing this again.

I am full Italian , have been using Contadina since first starting to cook at age 12.My mother would use nothing other!I have tried many brands as I lived in several different states. I find Contadina to be the very best in flavor and quality. Not only does it make a rich sauce, I use it to make my sausage and peppers , stuff peppers , and anything that calls for sauce.Do not hesitate to cook with this and see the quality for yourself

Contadina tomato paste with Italian herbs and spices is a pleasant surprise. The taste is fantastic. I used this paste to make pizza sauce and everyone raved about it. I highly recommend it. I also use this paste in other recipes to thicken the sauce or broth, what ever the case may be. Great value and very versatile.

The can is small, but better than the tubes of paste I use to get. I add a can of stewed tomatoes and a little water and cook until it thickens. I use my regular Italian seasonings to it and it is very tasty. When I make lasagna I do not use the stewed tomatoes. It is quick and easy and better than sauce in the jar.
