I’ve been buying this particular pasta sauce for about 20 years. It’s not the only sauce I use but it’s a good basic sauce that I use in a few recipes like lasagna and manicotti because it’s smooth and flavorful. I do always add a bit more seasonings to it to achieve the best flavor that we like but it really doesn’t have to be jazzed up if your in a hurry. It’s an affordable option to most all of the other sauces out there, and I like that it does NOT have chunks or lumps of stuff in it. I also like that there is NO high fructose corn syrup in this sauce. ( We seem to get plenty enough of that junk in other products. ) I buy this at the grocery store, yet I’ve also ordered this from Amazon several times and have always receive fresh, undented cans.I do recommend this!

Easy, tasty. Thin, add flour or cheese to thicken if your want. I’m not a fan of the chunky sauces, so this is perfect for me. Great flavor, very versatile, easy to make my own.

I admit I ordered this sauce on trial because it comes in a can and I can have it shipped to me for a very reasonable price. This sauce is way better than I expected. From now on I will keep several cans on hand just because it’s good sauce. I may add my own ingredients from time to time but this sauce stands on its own. Good job Hunt’s. I highly recommend this sauce.

When I order online, I’m usually grateful that a metal can is used to protect the product.This sauce is a good base for making a stellar homemade pasta sauce.I’ve used this brand for several years and have yet to be disappointed with the results of my culinary endeavors.I add a can of diced tomatoes, some chopped celery, chopped caramelized onion, a couple cheeses, and the usual plethora of fresh herbs.Simmer for a few hours (overnight in a crock pot). I love this sauce in the summertime when it’s too hot to be in the kitchen for long. I made red clam sauce with this, this time. But I usually add extra onion w/ zucchini and cooked ground Turkey or beef. It makes a great dinner and I’m in and outta the hot kitchen in no time. It’s a good all purpose red sauce for a veggie dinner as well. Bon Appetite.

Thanks to Amazon’s Prime Delivery service… product never arrived. Rural Ky area and AMAZON told us to just swing by and pick up or order… NOPE… that’s why we pay for prime BUT will never EVER do so again given the 20 minute customer support we received… PITIFUL!!!

This is a versatile, inexpensive sauce. By itself, this sauce has a mild flavor and rather thin texture. It’s good for pouring over meatloaf or casseroles or even as a basic pizza sauce. When using it for pasta, I like to thicken it up a bit, adding tomato paste, chile paste, more garlic and whatever else I have on hand – onion, peppers, olives, sausage or grilled shrimp. Sometimes I add a little cinnamon, salt and sugar with grilled chicken pieces. The point is, I’d rather use this simple, cheaper sauce and turn into my own, rather than buy really expensive pasta sauce in the jar. The money I save, I spend on good vino!

I like the taste of this pasta sauce. I didn’t have to add any more spice to this sauce. it was just the right amount of seasoning.when added to my spaghetti noodles it was a great combination of flavor and taste.
